Ultra-strong, 100% fluorocarbon with exceptionally high tensile strength, and exceptionally easy to tie knots in

RIOs newest tippet material is an ultra-strong, 100% fluorocarbon with exceptionally high tensile strength. The material is very easy to tie knots in, with high knot strength and a smooth finish that ensures knots seat easily and tightly. The high break strength to diameter ratio makes this a fantastic fluorocarbon for the trout fly fisher. RIO is proud to introduce half sizes of core trout diameters, giving anglers an extra choice when faced with the decision to choose between, say 4X and 5X. Our new 6.5X, 5.5X and 4.5X sizes will make those decisions easier. Each spool has 30 yards of top quality material spooled on, though for those who use a lot of fluoro, our Guide spools each have 100 yards spooled on. We also offer Fluoroflex Strong in a 3-Pack, which includes three, 30-yard spools of tippet packaged in a reusable, clear plastic cup. The 3-Packs are available in both a 4X, 5X, 6X option, & a 3X, 4X, 5X option.

Product Details The RIO Fluoroflex Strong Tippet 3-Pack delivers 30-yard spools of nearly invisible tippet in three line strengths per pack. Choose the 4X, 5X, 6X option or the 3X, 4X, 5X package to cover the range of popular tippet sizes for most trout fly fishing applications. RIO Fluoroflex Strong Tippet is 100% fluorocarbon, ultra-strong, and has exceptionally high tensile strength. RIO states these lines provide the highest break-strength-to-diameter ratio it has ever measured, which is important for setting hooks and fighting fish. The suppleness of Fluoroflex Strong Tippet is at least as important, if not more. The material is easy to tie into knots that hold with a smooth finish, ensuring knots seat easily and tightly without burning or binding as you tighten. The combination of high break strength and tight knots makes it a fantastic fluorocarbon for fly anglers matching wits with wary trout. Win the day on the water with a RIO Fluoroflex Strong Tippet 3-Pack always on hand. High tensile strength High knot strength Easy to tie Ideal for dry flies, soft hackles, nymphs Size Test (lb.)
