Firstly, the battery pack doesnt reliably maintain contact between the positive and negative poles, which means it doesnt reliably maintain power… Not exactly what you want when you land a big one. Secondly, the scale requires you to switch it on and let it “tare” before weighing the fish. If you dont weigh the fish within a few seconds after the scale is on, it automatically switches off… Therefore making it extremely frustrating to actually weigh the fish. Meanwhile, the poor fish is out of the water and cant “breathe” while we struggle with the freaken scale. Thirdly, getting the phone app linked with the scale is a nightmare… Conclusion: I am very disappointed in Bubba for putting this garbage on the market. This scale is a liability and a frustration to serious (kayak) fishermen. I threw it in the trash after only one outing.
